Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa. – Mercyhurst senior forward Nicole McAlpin scored the game-winning goal in the Lakers' 1-0 victory over Seton Hill Saturday afternoon.  The win was the fourth win for Mercyhurst in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
 
It was only a matter of a few minutes for McAlpin to do the damage to put the Lakers ahead. She scored her second of the season off a rebound in the 9^th minute to give Mercyhurst a lead they never squandered.
 
The Lakers outshot the Griffins 16-9 in the contest, including nine shots on goal compared to Seton Hill's three. Mercyhurst also put pressure on the Griffins with four corner kicks. Seton Hill had only one.
 
Kristen Koch earned the shutout for Mercyhurst in net after stopping all four of Seton Hill's shots on net.
 
Mercyhurst (4-3-1, 4-3-1) takes the field next Wednesday in an out-of-conference matchup versus Ohio Valley in Vienna, W.V. at 1 p.m.
