Box Score URBANA, Ohio -- Michael DiRienzo scored in the 78th minute, helping the Mercyhurst men's soccer team to a 1-1 non-conference tie against 16th-ranked Urbana on Tuesday.

DiRienzo received an assist from Mark Roche on the equalizer.

Lewis Dunne had put the host Blue Knights (2-1-1) ahead in the 31st minute when he converted a penalty kick.

In between the uprights, Mercyhurst goalkeeper Alex Brems had two saves while Urbana goalie Nathan Jones finished with 10 stops.

Mercyhurst outshot its hosts, 28-16, and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.

The Lakers (2-2-1) will be in action next on Saturday when they host East Stroudsburg at 3:30 p.m.
