ERIE, Pa. - The (8-1) Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) competitor (2-5) West Chester University on Saturday, December 10th at 1 PM.

West Chester leads the all time series record four games to two. The Lakers have been unable to secure a victory from West Chester in last four times that the teams have met. 

On Saturday the Lakers will be coming off of a three game win streak after defeating Bloomsburg and East Stroudsburg in play last weekend, while adding Ursuline College as a notch on their belt this past Wednesday. 

While (2-5) West Chester will be attempting to break their two game losing streak. The Golden Rams have suffered defeats from Edinboro and Philadelphia University since their victory.

The PSAC Women's Basketball athlete of the week from both the East (Porscha Speller of West Chester) and West (Natalie Piaggesi of Mercyhurst) division will be playing against each other in this match up.
