ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst men's soccer team is hosting the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's soccer championship for the fifth consecutive season. The tournament will be played at Mercyhurst Soccer Field on Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. with the championship being played Nov. 6 at 1 p.m.
 
The Lakers host the tournament as the PSAC's top-seeded team from the regular season. The Lakers finished the regular season with a 13-4-1 overall record, including a 10-1-0 mark in conference play. Mercyhurst has won ten straight games against PSAC opponents.
 
Mercyhurst gets a bye in the first round of the playoffs and will host its first game on Nov. 4 at 11 a.m. The Lakers will play the winner of the matchup between California (Pa.) and Seton Hill, who will play their quarterfinal game on Nov. 1. The other quarterfinal matchup to be played on Nov. 1 features Millersville and Gannon. The winner of that contest will play second-ranked West Chester in the second semifinal at Mercyhurst on Nov. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Quarterfinals

• (5) California (Pa.) at (4) Seton Hill : Nov. 1^st , 1:00 p.m. at Seton Hill (Greensburg, Pa.)
• (6) Millersville at (3) Gannon: Nov. 1^st, 6:00 p.m. at Gannon (Erie, Pa.) 

Semifinals

• (Winner of California/Seton Hill) vs. (1) Mercyhurst : Nov. 4^th,  11 a.m. at Mercyhurst Soccer Field
• (Winner of Millersville/Gannon) vs. (2) West Chester : Nov. 4^th, 1:30 p.m. at Mercyhurst Soccer Field

Championship

• Winner of Semifinal #1 vs. Winner of Semifinal #2 : Nov. 6^th, 1 p.m. at Mercyhurst Soccer Field
