ERIE, Pa. – The Lakers of Mercyhurst field hockey lost in their senior day match to the second ranked Warriors of East Stroudsburg 5-0 on Saturday, October 1.

Senior goalkeeper Sam Takac had a total of three saves at the goal for the Lakers (0-9). East Stroudsburg outshot Mercyhurst 12-3.

Bailey Quinn led the Warriors (8-3) with two goals, while Melanie Shambaugh, Desiraye Mack, and Kelli Shapiro each scored one.

Mercyhurst returns to action on Tuesday, October 4 at 3:00 p.m. against Millersville.
