ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Seton Hill in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division matchup. Wednesday night's game is scheduled to tipoff at 5:30 p.m. at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center (MAC).  
 
The Lakers defeated Pitt-Johnstown, 87-72, Saturday afternoon at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Natalie Piaggesi scored a career-high 34 points to lead the Lakers to their fourth straight victory, their longest winning streak since 2011-12. After taking a two point lead into halftime, 31-29, Mercyhurst went on to outscore the Mountain Cats by 13 in the second, posting a season-high 56 points in the half. As a team, the Lakers shot 56.4% (31-55) from the field and recorded 22 assists.
 
After losing a close battle to #22 California (Pa.) at home, 73-65, Seton Hill remains seventh in the PSAC Western Division. They enter Saturday's contest fifth in the conference in three-point field goal percentage, shooting 34.7% from behind the arc. Meghan Mastoianni leads the Griffins in scoring, averaging 10.0 points per game. Chelsea Apke leads the team in rebounding, averaging 9.1 boards a game. She is the fifth leading rebounder in the PSAC coming into Wednesday.
 
Since the Griffins have entered the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) last season, the Lakers split both meetings. Mercyhurst beat Seton Hill in the second game of the season, 85-75. The Griffins would go onto win on their home floor January 29, 65-39.
