ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team heads to #2 Shippensburg on Saturday, September 20, for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.

Mercyhurst is 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the PSAC this year. It won, 4-3 in double overtime, against #10 Slippery Rock on Wednesday.
Blair Pembleton led with a goal and two assists, while
Andrea Goldbach scored the game-winner midway through the second OT.

Shippensburg has a 3-1 record, including a 1-1 PSAC mark. The Raiders are coming off a 2-1 home win over #7 East Stroudsburg on Saturday. Tori Ricker scored late in the second half to push Ship past the Warriors. Ship won the 2013 NCAA Championship.
