ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team heads to fourth-ranked West Chester on Saturday, September 13, for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match. The contest is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.

The Lakers are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the PSAC after winning, 2-1, at #9 Indiana (Pa.) Tuesday night.
Kelsey Lovelace and
Marissa Faso scored goals in the win, while
Jess Wess made five saves in goal.

West Chester is 2-0, having defeated Bentley and Lindenwood at home this season. Marnie Kusakavitch scored four goals in the win over Lindenwood last weekend.

Faso has three goals to lead Mercyhurst this year. Lovelace and
Blair Pembleton have each scored twice. Wess has recorded 15 saves in 190 minutes of action, allowing four goals.
