ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team heads to Indiana (Pa.) for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division game on Wednesday, February 19. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Kovalchick Complex and Athletic Center.

Mercyhurst has a 6-17 record, including a 4-9 mark in the PSAC. It battled Western Division-leading Edinboro before falling, 64-61, on February 15. Adrienne Kloecker scored 14 points to lead four Lakers in double figures. Alayna White and Katie Fischer each scored 13 and Mariah Penascino tallied 11 points.
 
IUP is 15-8 overall and 6-7 in the conference. It lost, 73-64, to #3 Gannon on Saturday. Lindsay Stamp scored 18 points, while Leslie Stapleton put up 17 in the home loss.
 
The Lakers are tied with Clarion for sixth place in the Western Division. The top six teams in each division at the end of the regular season qualify for the PSAC Tournament. Edinboro and Gannon have clinched the top two seeds, while California (Pa.) has secured third. IUP and Pitt-Johnstown are even at 6-7, with Clarion and Mercyhurst both at 4-9. Seton Hill is 4-10 and Slippery Rock remains alive at 2-11 in the West.
 
Kloecker is averaging 14.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. She is fourth in the PSAC in minutes, playing 34.5 a game. White is putting up 13.3 points and 8.6 boards per game. Natalie Piaggesi paces PSAC Western Division freshmen with 113 total rebounds (4.9 per game), 18 blocked shots, and her 48.9 field goal percentage.
 
Stamp is recording 18.6 points and 6.2 rebounds a game. She returned Saturday after missing six games due to injury. Stapleton is next with 11.4 points per game, while Ashley Stoner is averaging 10.3 points and 6.0 boards a game.
 
On January 11, the Lakers beat Indiana, 73-64, at the MAC. Kloecker scored 23 points, while White registered 18 points and 12 rebounds. Mercyhurst jumped out to a 46-37 halftime lead before taking down the then-20^th-ranked Crimson Hawks.
