ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team travels to Edinboro on Saturday, February 15. Tip-off for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division contest is set for 1 p.m. at McComb Fieldhouse.

Mercyhurst has a 6-16 record, including a 4-8 mark in the PSAC. It dropped a 70-63 decision to Slippery Rock on Wednesday. Katie Fischer scored a career-high 21 points on 8-14 shooting. The freshman hit 3-5 three-pointers in the loss.
 
Edinboro is 17-5 overall and 11-1 in the Western Division. It won, 69-57, at #3 Gannon on Wednesday. Valerie Majewski led with 17 points as the Fighting Scots took over first place in the division.
 
Mercyhurst is tied with Clarion for sixth place in the Western Division. The top six teams from each division at the end of the regular season qualify for the PSAC Tournament. Edinboro, Gannon, and California (Pa.) have clinched spots in the playoffs, with the other six teams competing for three bids.
 
Adrienne Kloecker is scoring 15 points per game to lead Mercyhurst. Alayna White is averaging 13.3 points and 8.8 rebounds a game, while Natalie Piaggesi is adding 8.2 points and 4.8 boards per contest.
 
Majewski paces Edinboro with 16 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. Aignee Freeland is posting 13.9 points and 8.6 boards a game. Laurel Lindsay is chipping in with 12 points per game.
 
On January 15, Edinboro won, 80-69, at Mercyhurst. Kloecker scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds, while Alex Artise and Jessica Bell each scored 10 points. Lindsay led the Scots with 20 points.
