ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will host Slippery Rock in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division contest on Wednesday, February 12. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The Lakers have a 6-15 record, including a 4-7 mark in the PSAC. They fell, 70-56, to #3 Gannon on Saturday.
Adrienne Kloecker recorded 16 points, six rebounds, and five assists, while
Alayna White put up 10 points and 12 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season.

Slippery Rock is 4-18 overall and 1-11 in the conference. It lost, 76-60, to Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. D'Asia Chambers scored 16 points and Jazmyne Frost added 12 points and eight rebounds in the loss.

Kloecker paces Mercyhurst with 15.6 points per game. White is next with 13.3 points and 9.0 rebounds a game. The Lakers lead the PSAC in rebounding margin, grabbing 6.8 more boards than their foes each game.

Chambers has been The Rock's top performer this season, averaging 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Frost is adding 13.8 points and 7.9 boards per contest.

On January 18, the Lakers won, 82-75, at Slippery Rock.
Katie Fischer scored a career-high 20 points to lead five players in double figures. Kloecker registered 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.

Mercyhurst is in sixth place in the Western Division. The top six teams in each division qualify for the PSAC Tournament. Gannon and Edinboro have clichéd berths in the playoffs, with California (Pa.) on the verge of doing the same. IUP, Pitt-Johnstown, Mercyhurst, and Seton Hill will compete for the final three spots as the season comes to a close.
