ERIE, Pa. – The #8 men's soccer team will make the short trip downtown to face off against rival Gannon at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon.
The Lakers look to finish off the regular season on a 12 game win streak, their longest under direction of head coach
Dale White and third longest since the 2001 (13) and 2002 (15) seasons.
Mercyhurst has already locked up the number one seed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) tournament which begins November 7.
The Lakers improved their record to 15-2-0 overall and 9-1-0 in the PSAC with a, 5-1, win at Lock Haven Wednesday afternoon.

Richard Vanhorne recorded his first hat track in a Mercyhurst uniform and
Mark Roche also recorded his first goal of the season off a free kick.
The Golden Knights come into the game on a three game losing skid with a 5-10-1 overall record and a 4-5-1 conference mark. Gannon hosted Davis and Elkins College Wednesday in a non-conference matchup losing, 1-4. Senior Robbie Bennett scored the lone Golden Knights goal, as he leads the team with 11 on the season.
