EDINBORO, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team won in four games at Edinboro Saturday afternoon. The Lakers won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match by scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-21, and 25-22 at McComb Fieldhouse.

After falling in the opening game, the Lakers took charge, hitting over .200 in each of the last three sets.
Rachel Crittle led the way with 20 points, including 17 kills.
Camille Alvarez scored 16.5 points, while
Sarah Wegrzyn added 14.5 on the day.
Kelly Vitt dished out 53 assists. Vitt and
Tai Lattimore each put up 16 digs in the victory.

Mercyhurst improved to 16-9 overall and 11-6 in the PSAC. Edinboro dropped to 19-9 overall and 10-7 in the league. The Lakers play at Gannon on Tuesday, October 28, in another PSAC West contest.
