#8/9 Women's Hockey Welcomes Minnesota State for Weekend Series at the MIC

ERIE, Pa.- The #8/9 Mercyhurst women's hockey team hosts Minnesota State for a two-game series this weekend at the Mercyhurst Ice Center. On Friday, October 24, the teams meet at 3 p.m. The following day, they will face off at 2 p.m.
 
Mercyhurst has a 4-1-1 record after splitting a pair of matches with Northeastern last weekend. Jaclyn Arbour scored the game-winning goal in Saturday's 4-2 win. She assisted on another score for her first two points of the season. Amanda Makela totaled 21 saves in goal.
 
MSU is 0-3-1 this season, having lost and tied with St. Cloud State last weekend. Natalie Stoltz scored the Mavericks' goal in the 1-1 tie. Erin Krichiver registered 29 saves in net.
 
Stoltz, Elin Johansson, and Savannah Quandt have each scored once for the Mavs this season. Krichiver and Brianna Quade have both started two matches in goal, combining to allow 3.18 goals per game.
 
Mercyhurst leads the all-time series, 13-3. The teams split a pair of meetings at MSU last season. The Lakers have won five of the last seven dating back to 2010.
