Volleyball Prepares for Trip to Wheeling Jesuit Tuesday Night

ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team heads to Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday, October 14. The non-conference match is set for a 6 p.m. start.
 
Mercyhurst has a 14-6 record, including a 3-1 mark in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover action last weekend. The Lakers took down Millersville, Shippensburg, and Pitt-Johnstown, and fell in a five-game decision to Lock Haven.
 
Wheeling Jesuit is 20-3 this season, but dropped two of three outings in Florida over the weekend. The Cardinals beat Cedarville before falling to Saint Leo and Palm Beach Atlantic.
 
Sarah Wegrzyn paces the Lakers with 206 points this season. Lexi Stefanov is next with 194.5 points and Lauren Kenny has put up 189.5 this year. Kelly Vitt has compiled 694 assists and Samantha Giardina has 329 digs.
 
Haley Kindall leads the Cardinals with 260.5 points. Emma Schleucher and Kayce Krucki each have over 200 points this year. Andrea Thobe has recorded 763 assists, while Makenzie Ripley has 267 digs.
