ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst field hockey team hosts #1 Millersville on Saturday, October 11. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) match is scheduled for a noon start at Tullio Field.
 
Mercyhurst has a 4-5 record, including a 2-3 mark in the PSAC. It fell, 3-2, at Kutztown on October 4. Marissa Faso and Blair Pembleton each scored for the Lakers.
 
Millersville is 8-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference. It defeated Slippery Rock, 2-0, last weekend. Sarah Bomberger and Champayne Hess scored a goal apiece in the win.
 
Pembleton leads the Lakers with eight goals and five assists. Faso has scored seven goals and Kelsey Lovelace has added four this season. Jess Wess has made all nine starts in net, registering a .716 save percentage.
 
Katelyn Zapp paces the Marauder offense with eight goals. Hess has compiled five goals and three assists, while Rachel Dickinson has three goals and four helpers. Lauren Sotzin has started all eight games in goal, posting a 0.38 goals against average.
