ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team heads to Seton Hill on Wednesday, January 29. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division contest is scheduled for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.

Mercyhurst is 6-12 overall and 4-4 in the PSAC. It beat Clarion, 66-49, before falling at Pitt-Johnstown, 67-62, last week.
Adrienne Kloecker leads the Lakers with 15.7 points per game. She is pulling down 5.7 rebounds per game. Senior
Alayna White is next with 13.8 points and 9.3 boards a game.
Mariah Penascino was named PSAC Western Division Freshman of the Week after recording 15 points and 13 rebounds for her first double-double Saturday at UPJ.

The Lakers lead the conference in rebounding margin, grabbing 7.3 more boards per game than their opponents. That mark ranks 25
th nationally. White is third in the PSAC in rebounding and second in double-doubles (8).

Seton Hill is 11-7 overall and 3-5 in the PSAC. It had a five-game winning streak snapped last week, as the Griffins lost, 75-70 in overtime, at Slippery Rock and then fell, 78-70, at California (Pa.). Katie Gattuso has been one of the top performers in the league, averaging 16.8 points and 12 rebounds per game. Paige Alviani is putting up 16.1 points and 3.4 assists a game.

The Griffins are the most foul-averse team in the PSAC. They average 16.2 fouls per game, best in the league and 13
th in the country. Gattuso's 13 double-doubles pace the conference and stand second in the nation. Her 12 boards a game are most in the PSAC and fourth in Division II.

On November 20, the Lakers beat Seton Hill, 85-75, at the MAC. White and Kloecker combined for 45 points and 16 rebounds. Penascino scored a career-high 16 points to go with six assists.
