ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team heads to Slippery Rock on Saturday, January 18. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division contest is set for a 1 p.m. start at the Morrow Field House.

Mercyhurst is 4-11 overall and 2-3 in the PSAC. It fell, 80-69, to Edinboro on Wednesday.
Adrienne Kloecker scored 24 points, including 19 in the first half.
Jessica Bell tied a career high with 10 points.

The Rock is 3-12 overall and 0-5 in the conference. It lost, 83-75, to Edinboro in its last outing on January 11. D'Asia Chambers scored 30 points and Aidan Geise recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Mercyhurst leads the PSAC in rebounding margin at plus-7.7 per game. Four Lakers average over five boards a game, led by
Alayna White with 9.3 per contest. Kloecker leads the team in scoring at 15.2 points, while White is second with 14.6 points. Freshman
Natalie Piaggesi is adding 9.6 points and 5.3 boards per game. She ranks fifth in the conference in free throw shooting at 80 percent.

Chambers is SRU's top performer, averaging 15.9 points and 8.7 rebounds a game. Jazmyne Frost is putting up 15.2 points and 8.3 boards, while Geise is registering 12.5 points per game. The Rock stands fourth in the league in field goal shooting at 42.3 percent this season.

The Lakers swept two matchups last season, winning, 60-44, at The Rock before taking an 80-72 game at the MAC.
