ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team travels to Lock Haven for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division game Wednesday, February 6. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at Thomas Fieldhouse.

The Lakers have a 5-14 overall record and a 5-10 PSAC mark. They lost, 61-50, to California (Pa.) February 2. Kaylee Foster scored 16 points and made four steals.
 
Lock Haven has a 6-13 mark and a 3-12 conference record. it has lost five in a row, including a 70-62 loss at Gannon February 2. Three Eagles scored in double-digits, led by Sami Lane with 14 points. She also had six assists.
 
Mercyhurst is in sixth place in the Western Division. It is one game behind Clarion for fifth. The top six teams in each division advance to the PSAC Tournament. Lock Haven is tied with Slippery Rock for seventh place at 3-12 in the conference action. Coach Deanna Richard's squad will have the opportunity to create separation this week, as it faces LHU and The Rock-the teams behind Mercyhurst in the division.
 
Foster is the Lakers' leading scorer at 10.7 points per game. Dana Banda is averaging 9.8 points and moved into second place on the career assists list on Saturday. The Solon, Ohio, native has 364 career helpers, putting her ahead of Teresa Szumigala, who totaled 362 for the Lakers. Banda will now try to catch Katie Lorincz, who had 384 assists in her career.
 
The Eagles have two players scoring in double figures. Kelsey Ryan and Marrysa Myer combine to put up 22 points per game. Ryan grabs 6.7 rebounds and Moyer pulls down 8.8 boards per outing.
