Women's Basketball Heads to Lake Erie for First Road Game

Katie Fischer has started both games this season.
ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team will travel to Lake Erie College for a non-conference game on Saturday, November 23. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.

Mercyhurst won its first game on Wednesday, defeating Seton Hill, 85-75, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. Alayna White scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Adrienne Kloecker recorded a career-best 22 points and pulled down eight boards. Mariah Penascino added 16 points and six assists. The 85 points were the most by the Lakers since December 30, 2007, when they put up 89 points. 

Lake Erie is 1-3 early this season, coming off a victory at Ohio Valley Thursday. Kaeding Skelton led the Storm with 16 points and 11 rebounds. 

The Lakers have won all six previous meetings with LEC. They took a 66-51 decision early in the 2008-09 campaign.
