Men's Basketball Hosts Seton Hill to Open PSAC West Action

ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team hosts Seton Hill in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division opener on Wednesday, November 20. The match is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

Mercyhurst is 0-2 for the first time in 19 seasons. It lost to Shepherd and Alderson Broaddus at the 2013 Wolf's Bus Lines Classic, hosted by Shippensburg University, last weekend. Senior Jonathan Ouegnin led the Lakers, earning All-Tournament Team honors after two solid performances. Against Shepherd, Ouegnin totaled 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists.
 
Seton Hill is 2-0, having defeated Pitt-Greensburg and LeMoyne to begin the season. Kameron Taylor leads the Griffins with 14.5 points per game. Malachi Leonard is putting up 13.5 points and 10 rebounds per contest.
 
Wednesday will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
