ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team hosts two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division matches this weekend. The Lakers take on Edinboro on Friday, November 1, at 7:05 p.m. and then face Slippery Rock the next day at 3 p.m.

Mercyhurst is 14-11 overall and 8-7 in the PSAC. It lost a pair of five-game heartbreakers last weekend, falling at Seton Hill and California (Pa.).

Edinboro has a 15-14 record, including a 6-9 PSAC mark. It dropped two road division contests last week, losing at Indiana (Pa.) and Clarion.

Slippery Rock is 9-19 overall and 4-11 in the conference. It enters the weekend on an eight-match losing streak, including a four-set loss at Clarion on Tuesday.

The Lakers feature two of the top ten hitters in the PSAC.
Lexi Stefanov is attacking a .292 rate on her way to 236.5 points this season.
Rachel Crittle has a .284 hitting percentage and a team-high 276.5 points. The junior is also eighth in aces with 0.39 per game and ninth in blocks with 0.92 per set.
Nicole Texido ranks sixth in the league with 4.69 digs per frame this year.

Marah Maycock paces the Edinboro attack with 324 points, while Megan Branchick has 322.5 points. Katie Felix stands ninth in the league with 7.94 assists per game (889 total). Haley Marett has recorded 613 digs this year, the highest total in the PSAC.

Caroline Houston is The Rock's top scorer with 361 points, including 319 kills, which is eighth-most in the conference. Michelle Hren has the fourth-highest block per game number with 1.07 this season.

Kelly Vitt had 27 assists. The next day, the Lakers won in four at Edinboro, as Stefanov totaled 19 points and
