Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller at Slippery Rock Friday night. The Lakers lost by scores of 27-25, 22-25, 25-20, 21-25, and 15-12 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match.

Sarah Vick and Becky Smith led Mercyhurst with 11 kills apiece. Kiera Rebert dished out 42 assists, while Nicole Texido had 21 digs. Elyse Texido compiled 19 digs.

Mercyhurst fell to 13-5 overall and 1-4 in the PSAC. Slippery Rock is now 11-5 and 4-1 in the conference.

The Lakers play at Clarion tomorrow at 1 p.m.
