ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's basketball team hosts Lock Haven Saturday, December 8, in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division opener. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center.

The Lakers are 1-3 in 2012-13. They beat East Stroudsburg, 63-49, before falling to Kutztown, 70-60, last weekend. Against ESU,
Alayna White came off the bench to score 13 points and grab six rebounds.
Kaylee Foster led the way in the KU game, totaling 14 points and six boards.
Lock Haven is 2-3, coming off home losses to Millersville and Shippensburg last weekend. In the 87-82 loss to Ship, Marrysa Moyer recorded 22 points and nine rebounds.
This season, Foster leads Mercyhurst with 11 points per outing. Freshman
Adrienne Kloecker is next with 8.8 points per game, having hit nine three-pointers.
Dana Banda is averaging 7.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, and 2.1 steals per game.
The Eagles have three players off to stellar starts in 2012-13. Kelsey Ryan is putting up 13 points and six rebounds, Moyer is averaging 12.8 points and 8.6 boards, and Emily Daugherty is posting 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.
Last season, the teams split two matchups. The Lakers won 80-57 on February 1. Banda scored a career-high 25 points, including 12-13 free throws. She also assisted on six other scores.
