SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team travels to Notre Dame (Ohio) for a non-conference game Wednesday, December 5. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the Keller Center.

The Lakers enter the contest 3-3 after splitting two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossovers last weekend. They dropped a 67-62 decision to East Stroudsburg December 1 and then won, 76-64, against Kutztown the following day.
Notre Dame has a 2-3 record, including a 109-72 win over Hiram College December 1. The Falcons won their season-opener before dropping three straight outings.
Senior
Luis Leao leads the Lakers, averaging 19.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He had 24 points and eight boards in the loss to East Stroudsburg and then 18 points and eight rebounds against Kutztown.
Forward Eric Dummermuth is the Falcons' top player, putting up 20 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Point guard Tyree Gaiter is recording 15 points and 4.6 assists per contest.
Mercyhurst won the 2005-06 season opener in the only previous meeting between the programs.
