BEREA, Oh. - The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team delivered an impressive start to its season at Baldwin-Wallace College, winning over the Yellow Jackets 8-1.

Caroline Bristol, Rebecca Haener, Courtney Thompson, Sarah Baich, and Katelyn Caniford helped the Lakers take five out of six singles matches.  Afterwards, Mercyhurst would sweep all three doubles matches to close out its remarkable day.

Mercyhurst will return to action on September 13, as the Lakers travel to Allegheny College to take on the Gators.
