WHITE SULPHER SPRINGS, W. Va. --  The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team increased its overall record to 9-2 with a whitewashing of Bluefield State on Saturday afternoon.  

The ladies got their entire lineup into their Atlantic Region match and all nine cruised to victory.  Mercyhurst lost just two games in their five singles matches and four games in two doubles matches.

The Lakers will return to action tomorrow, Feb. 27 against an 8-1 Shaw University squad.
