ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team travels to Lake Erie College for a non-conference game Sunday, November 27, at 7:30 p.m. The Lakers are 3-0 in 2011-12, coming off two road wins last weekend.

Hurst opened the season with a home victory over Urbana on November 12 and then won Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) games at Millersville and West Chester on November 19-20. Sophomore
Andrew Rickard scored a career-high 24 points to help the Lakers come back from a 13-point second half deficit in an 84-75 win at Millersville.
Matt Lee recorded 27 points to lead his team past West Chester, 90-71.
Lake Erie is 2-1 this year, having lost at Division I Detroit, 95-67, to begin the season. The Storm returned home and defeated Salem International and Malone last week. Forward Rich Austin is averaging 16.3 points and nine rebounds per game. He's also shooting over 60 percent from the field.
Last season, Mercyhurst beat LEC, 92-66, on November 27, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center. The Lakers shot 62.1 percent from the floor, as Hurst won the first-ever meeting between the schools.
Lee leads the Lakers with 20.3 points a game, having hit 12 triples on the season. Rickard is next with 19.0 points per, while senior
Bill Weaver is posting 16 points a game. Hurst is holding opponents to 17 percent shooting from three-point range in three games this year.
