SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa.- The Mercyhurst volleyball team won in five sets at Slippery Rock Friday night. The Lakers won by scores of 25-22, 12-25, 26-24, 19-25, and 15-9 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West match.

The Lakers improved to 13-13 overall and 6-8 in the conference. The Rock dropped to 19-7 and 8-6 in the PSAC. Mercyhurst defeated Slippery Rock in four sets on September 23.
 
Hurst continues its road trip with another league contest at Clarion tomorrow.
