CLARION, Pa. - Clarion's Amanda Lewis scored in the 81st minute to give Clarion a 1-0 win over the Mercyhurst College women's soccer team on Wednesday night.

The Golden Eagles improve to 2-3-1 overall, 2-1-0 in the PSAC West while the Lakers fall to 5-3-0 overall, 2-3 PSAC West.
 

The Lakers played a very sound defensive game and held a 12-2 advantage in shots but they just could not connect on target.  Clarion goalie Jenna Kulik notched the complete game shutout, collecting six saves in the processs.

Mercyhurst's road woes continue as the squad is now just 1-3 away from Mercyhurst Soccer Field while remaining a perfect 4-0 at home.
