Meadville Pa.—The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team improved its record to 3-0 by defeating Allegheny College, 8-1.

Highlighting the Lakers play was Kim Ezzo and Caroline Bristol who won both of their singles matches, as well as defeating Sara Longo/Carolyn Shelter, 8-6 in their doubles match.

Also for the Lakers, Jenna Raynor and Courtney Thompson defeated their Allegheny opponents in both of their singles matches as well as in the doubles competition.

Mercyhurst returns to action on September 18 when the Lakers host Millersville College at 10 a.m.
