ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team fell by an 8-1 count against Ashland on Saturday.  Rebecca Haener and Jenna Raynor paced the Lakers with a victory at No. 2 doubles.

The Lakers move to 9-5 on the year while the Eagles even their record at 9-9.  Mercyhurst is next in action on Feb. 28 when the Lakers take on Roanoke at Hilton Head during the team's annual spring training trip.
