ERIE, Pa. – The Mercyhurst College Department of Athletics has announced ticket information for the NCAA II Football Championship Quarterfinals between the Lakers and Shepherd University on Dec. 4.
A presale will be held on Thursday and Friday in the Mercyhurst Athletics Center from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 4 p.m. each day. Tickets will also be sold on game day at the gate beginning at 10 a.m. Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the presale as a capacity crowd is expected.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens, students with a valid I.D. and children between the ages of 2 – 12. Children under 2 years of age will be admitted free with a paid adult.
The NCAA mandates that all spectators must purchase a ticket to attend championship games. No complimentary tickets are available and no PSAC passes or Mercyhurst College President's Cards will be honored.
Kickoff is set at 12 noon for the quarterfinal game between the Lakers and Shepherd University.
This is the first time in the program's 30-year history that the Lakers have earned a berth in the NCAA Championship. Their dream season continues this weekend as they host their second-straight playoff game. With just the semifinals remaining as the last on-campus round of competition, this could be Mercyhurst fans last chance to see the team on its home field. The national championship game is in Florence, Alabama at a neutral site in Braly Municipal Stadium on Dec. 18.

For Employees and Alumni:
Mercyhurst's Department of Institutional Advancement invites all Mercyhurst employees and alumni to attend a tailgate reception before the game. The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Herrmann Student Union and includes food / beverage.
Those who plan to attend must register in advance. During registration, you'll have the option to purchase your game tickets online and pay by credit card. The Advancement Office is offering discounted tickets for employees only (one ticket per employee) at $5. Advance tickets (including discounted tickets for employees) must be purchased before noon on Friday, Dec. 3. All tickets purchased on-line will be available for pickup at the alumni reception.
