ERIE, Pa. --  Mercyhurst College men's basketball head coach Gary Manchel has announced a time change for the Lakers home opener on Nov. 27.  Originally slated as a 7:30 tipoff, the Lakers contest against Lake Erie College will now start at 4 p.m. 

Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students.  Mercyhurst College faculty, staff and students with a valid ID are admitted free.  Also, those with a Mercyhurst College President's Card receive free admission.

The Lakers begin the 2010-11 season this Friday when they square off against Philadelphia University on the first day of the Shippensburg University Tournament.
