ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College Development office will host a tailgate for alumni and employees Saturday when the 16th-ranked Lakers host No. 11 Bloomsburg in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship football game.

It's the biggest game of the year for the football team.  Nationally-ranked for the first time in school history, the Lakers are on the verge of an NCAA playoff berth for the first time in the 30-year program.

Hot food, cold beverages and good company are assured so don't miss out on your chance to reconnect with alumni and friends.  The tailgate fruns from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside Tullio Field.  Kickoff is set for 12 noon.

There's no charge for the tailgate but please register by Thursday by clicking here.  During registration, alumni can purchase tickets ($5) for the event.  You can pick up the tickets at the tailgate tent.
