ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College women's basketball team takes its two-game winning streak on the road this week for a pair of away contests, beginning with Clarion on Wednesday.  Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.  Fans can follow the action on redzonemedia.com.

The Lakers (11-5, 3-1 PSAC West) and Golden Eagles (10-7, 1-3 PSAC West) meet for the 28th time, with Clarion holding a 17-11 advantage. Mercyhurst has won four out of the last six meetings, with the teams splitting the season series last year. The Golden Eagles defeated the Lakers 75-69 at Tippin Gymnasium in the last matchup between the teams. Amy Achesisnki posted a double-double with 29 points and 15 rebounds, and Sara Pratt led five Eagles in double figures with 19 points and 15 boards.
