RAVENSBURG, Germany - Junior
Vicki Bendus scored a goal and added two assists as the Canadian National Women's Under-22 Team rolled past Switzerland, 9-0, in the gold medal game of the 2010 MLP Cup Saturday afternoon in Ravensburg, Germany.
The Canadians, who won all four of their games by a combined score of 24-4, secured their seventh goal medal in the past eight years.

Jesse Scanzano and sophomore
Bailey Bram each added a goal and an assist. In three games, the trio combined for seven goals and 18 points.
Canada did all of its damage in the first two periods, scoring four goals in the first and five in the second. Bendus extended the lead to 2-0 when she converted on a power play just 4:11 into the first. Bram followed suit near the end of the frame, connecting off a pass from Scanzano at 18:04. Scanzano made it a 5-0 advantage off assists from linemates Bram and Bendus at 5:23 of the middle stanza.
With the MLP Cup in the books, Bendus, Bram and Scanzano will return to Erie, Pa., to get ready for the upcoming series with No. 3 Clarkson, beginning on Friday, Jan. 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the Mercyhurst Ice Center.
