HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Mercyhurst women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision against PSAC member Bloomsburg University in the finale of its annual southern swing.
The Huskies swept the singles competition but the Lakers were able to take two out of three in doubles action to put points on the boards.
At No. 1 doubles,
Meghan Raynor and
Jaclyn McLean were 8-6 winners against Alison Carney and Emily Palko. At No. 2 doubles,
Kim Ezzo and
Courtney Conway continued their winning streak as they also posted an 8-6- decision against Katie Hasyn and Kristen Bonito.
Mercyhurst returns to the court on March 13 when the Lakers travel to Niagara University.
