ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst College women's tennis team kicks off its spring season this Sunday when the Lakers host nationally-ranked Division III Carnegie Mellon at the Pennbriar Athletic Club at 3 p.m.
The Lakers own a 4-1 record after the fall season, with their only loss coming at the hands of St. Bonaventure.
Kim Ezzo sports a 7-3 overall mark and will headline the Lakers lineup at No. 1 singles. She could team with
Courtney Conway in doubles action as the two posted the best winning percentage in doubles play with a 4-2 record during the fall campaign.
Mercyhurst hosts two more opponents in Walsh on February 14 and Ashland on Feb. 21 before the Lakers head to Hilton Head, S.C. for their annual training trip.
