Lakers Continue Homestand Saturday Against California (Pa.)

Erie, Pa.- The Mercyhurst men's basketball team (14-4, 2-3 PSAC West) continues its three-game homestand Saturday at 3 p.m., playing host to California (Pa.) (10-7, 3-2).

Mercyhurst owns a 4-2 all-time record against California, including the last two contests. The two squads have not met since the 1998-99 season when the Lakers took a 73-60 decision.

The Lakers began their three-game homestand with a 75-64 victory over Clarion on Wednesday. California is on a two-game losing streak after falling to Edinboro and IUP at home and has not lost a conference game on the road yet.

The Lakers will then host cross town rival Gannon Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
