Hilton Head, S.C. - Mercyhurst made it two in-a-row on its southern trip Monday with a 7-2 verdict over Cabrini College of Radnor, Pa. It was Cabrini's first match of the season.

Although the #1 doubles team of Mariano Fava and Dan Hersh suffered its first loss of the season, Mercyhurst got a lift from the #3 tandem of Rick Fowler and David Smith, which picked up its first win of the campaign. Eventually, the Lakers took two of three doubles and five of six singles.

Mercyhurst will travel to Savannah, Ga Tuesday to play Savannah College of Art and Design, a team which tripped the Lakers 5-4 last season.
