Erie, Pa. - #13 Mercyhurst concluded a perfect week with a pair of wins Sunday at the Athletic Center. The Lakers trounced Limestone 44-6 and then took care of Heidelberg, #13 in D-III, by a score of 27-18. The Lakers improved to 12-7 overall while Limestone dropped to 1-12 and Heidelberg fell to 14-3.

Mercyhurst lost bouts at 125 and heavyweight to the Saints, but won everything in between. The Lakers got pins from J.J. Zanetta (141), Don Cummings (149), Zack Schafer (165), and Hudson Harrison (174); technical falls from Leonard Calhoun (133) and Frank Zatta (184); and a major decision from Will Tedder (157). Limestone forfeited at 197.

Mercyhurst won six of the first seven bouts against Heidelberg to forge an insurmountable 27-6 advantage. Calhoun and Cummings recorded pins while six more points came at 141 when Zanetta's opponent had to default due to injury.
