Mercyhurst Dominates Northwood 4-1

Erie, Pa. - Mercyhurst won its fourth straight by dominating the Northwood Timberwolves 4-1 in today's game at the Hurst Soccer Field. Mercyhurst improved its record to 13-4 in the season and 2-3 in the GLIAC. Northwood fell to 6-10 in the season and 0-7 in the GLIAC.

Mercyhurst owned the first half with 21 shots and 11 shots on goal while the Timberwolves only had one shot on goal.

The Lakers found the back of the net three times in the first half. Finella Annand was the first to find the net 14:38 into the game with an assist by Adrienne Sluga. Lisa Casement found the back of the net two times and approximately one minute apart. First at 20:58 into the game with an assist from Christine Rehnert; and at 21:55 with an assist by Sarah Powell.

Casement scored her third goal in the game for the hat trick in the second period at 55:23 for her 22nd goal of the season. She was assited by Sheena Marche. This is Casements third hat trick in the last four games totaling for ten goals in those four games.

Northwood fights back in the second half and scores with 5:11 left in the game. Amy Snyder found the back of the net for the Timberwolves unassisted.
