Worcster, Mass. - Erin Kelleher notched her first two goals of the season and Lindsay Jackson provided three assists as Mercyhurst submerged Assumption College 3-0 Saturday in rain-drenched Massachusetts. The appropriately-named Lakers improved to 5-10 on the season while the Greyhounds dropped to 7-8.

After a scoreless first half, Lauren MacEllven put Mercyhurst ahead with her tenth goal of the season at 46:14. Kelleher then put the game away with her first two goals of the campaign two minutes apart in the last seven minutes of the contest. Senior Lindsay Jackson had a hand in all three tallies. Mercyhurst goaltenders Julie Smith and Jen Macri, who played the last seven minutes, combined for the team's fourth shutout of the season and second win on the road.

The Lakers will stay in Massachusetts to play Bentley Sunday.
