Mercyhurst defeated the Seton Hill Griffins 3-0 with one goal in the first half and two in the second.

Scoring first for the Lakers with 26:30 left to go in the first period was junior Lauren MacEllven with an assist by senior Christine Smith.

In the second half, senior Katie King scored with 21:05 left and was assisted by freshman Cortney Witchey. Scoring unassisted with only 6:16 left in the game was senior Misty Dennis.

The Lakers were also backed by junior netminder Julie Smith who made 19 saves.
