Brenna Heise enters her second year as the assistant women's basketball coach at Mercyhurst University. Prior to being hired at Mercyhurst, Heise served as the graduate assistant at Lake Erie College.
Heise spent five years playing at Michigan Tech University, graduating in 2018. She was a three year starter and a member of two NCAA tournament teams, three GLIAC North Division Championship teams and one GLIAC tournament team.
At Michigan Tech, she played in 103 career games while shooting 49% from the field, 34% from 3 and 84% from the free throw line. As a senior, she was named first team all conference while leading the Huskies to a 23-6 record.
