Natalie Piaggesi is honored as the Mercyhurst female Athlete of the week for her efforts on the court for Mercyhurst in a pair of victories over No. 3 California (Pa.) and Gannon. In these two games Piaggesi recorded 47 points, 17 rebounds, as she shot 18 of 27 attempts from the field and 11 of fourteen attempts from the free throw line. Piagessi earned the all time blocks record in her game against Gannon having a total of 173 blocks in her career. Piaggesi was also named PSAC West athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
