Hale is currently ranked eighth in Division II at the heavyweight division. Last week the 285-pounder won a pair of matches including a decision win over No.3 Jacob Southwick of Ashland, 9-4. Hale followed that win with a fall over Jacob Nale of Shippensburg in 2:44 helping the Lakers beat the Raiders, 31-9. The wins improve Hale to 26-6 overall this season and 12-2 during dual meets.
