Jared Lee

Lee enters his second season as running backs coach in 2026 following coaching stops at Samford, Bryant, and Presbyterian.
 
In his first season with the Lakers, Lee coached First Team All-NEC running back Brian Trobel who totaled over 1,000 all-purpose yards and led the conference in rushing touchdowns with 12.
 
Prior to Mercyhurst, Lee served as an Offensive Analyst at Samford, working with the tight ends and offensive line.
 
At Bryant, Lee coached in multiple roles, including Assistant Offensive Line Coach and Assistant Quarterbacks Coach. He contributed to the development of Big South-OVC Offensive Player of the Year Zevi Ekhaus and helped guide nationally ranked passing offenses, including a unit that finished No. 4 in the nation and another that ranked among the Top 20.
 
Lee also spent time at Presbyterian as Assistant Wide Receivers Coach and Assistant Recruiting Coordinator, helping lead the nation’s top-ranked passing offense (415.0 yards per game, 44 touchdowns). He mentored freshman wide receiver Jayln Witcher, an FCS All-American and Jerry Rice Award finalist.
 
Lee began his coaching career at Attleboro High School (Mass.)

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies from Southern New Hampshire University.
