Danielle Kaiser

Danielle Kaiser, Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Seiche Dance Collective, works as adjunct faculty and administrative assistant to the Mercyhurst Dance Department, faculty advisor for the Mercyhurst Dance Club, and head coach for the Mercyhurst Dance Team.  She holds a B.A. in dance and secondary education mathematics from Mercyhurst University and an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University. 

 Danielle has been the recipient of the Mercyhurst Egan Scholarship, the Etoile Leadership Award, and the Howard Gilman Fellowship Award through Jacksonville University’s MFA program.  She has worked with artists including Lily Baldwin, Marianela Boán, Alonzo King, Elena Estanol, Bill Evans, and Valerie Valentine. From 2007-2010 Danielle performed with the Erie Bayhawks Dance Team as well as with the Mercyhurst University Dance Team as team captain.  

Danielle’s professional performance credits include performing for PGT Entertainment and Princess Cruises, Ltd. as aerialist, ballet soloist, and Assistant Company Performance Manager.  Her choreography has been presented with Princess Cruises Ltd., the Mercyhurst University Dance Department, Cleveland Ballet Conservatory, Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre, and Jacksonville University’s MFA program. Danielle’s choreography was nominated for the Monticello Choreography Award with RDA Northeast in 2019.

She is looking forward to entering her 10th year as the Mercyhurst University Dance Team Coach.
